ABOUT ME …

When he walks into the room, the whole atmosphere lightens and brightens, he’s so enthusiastic, I love having an expert who loves what they do!

Vanessa Feltz, talkTV

I’m Josh Rom, a London-based broadcaster, journalist and commentator specialising in culture, entertainment, and royal coverage.

Over the years, I’ve appeared on ITV News, BBC News, Sky News, Times Radio, LBC, Channel 5, and TalkTV. Internationally, I regularly contribute to outlets including LiveNOW from Fox, Newsmax, Scripps News, i24 News, Sky News Australia, Al Arabiya, CTV and MBC. I love to connect with audiences around the globe with a particular interest on stories that shape our culture.

Alongside broadcasting, I’m a passionate writer and I have delighted to have been published extensively online and in print. My work has appeared in publications including The Sun, Daily Star and The Jewish News, and has been featured in The Sunday Times, Page Six, The New York Post, Glamour, MSN, AOL and The Express, among others.

One of the greatest privileges of my career has been getting to meet and interview some of the biggest names in entertainment. I have loved getting to sit down with the likes of Angelina Jolie, Kate Winslet, Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Pierce Brosnan, and Laurence Fishburne. I’ve also met a long list of artists on the red carpet which include Emma Stone, Dua Lipa, Cillian Murphy and Tom Cruise. Getting Robbie Williams joking about a ‘Hard Brexit’ will always remain firmly in my mind. Each conversation has reinforced why I love what I do: telling stories that connect people to the personalities behind the headlines.

Journalism has also placed me at the centre of major cultural moments — from reporting on the Coronation of King Charles III to covering the passing of legendary figures whose impact shaped generations like Tina Turner and Liam Payne. It’s a role that carries both adrenaline and a huge sense of responsibility – one I never take for granted.

“An encyclopaedic knowledge of Entertainment!

Cathy Newman, Times Radio

Entertainment and royal reporting are my specialisms, but my work is also deeply rooted in my community. As a proud Jewish journalist, I’ve collaborated on nationwide initiatives including Shabbat UK coverage for The Jewish News, reaching more than 200,000 viewers, and worked with BBC Three on the Things Not to Say digital series, which was seen by over 300,000 people. I’ve also had the honour of hosting a live book club event for Yad Vashem UK.

My journey began in student television, followed by local TV in Nottingham, before qualifying as a journalist at City, University of London. I care deeply about the stories I tell and the people I work with. I pride myself on being professional, dependable and easy to work with — and I’m always excited about what comes next.

So feel free to have a browse, watch my showreels, look through my gallery of memories and get in contact.

I feel like I am just getting started!

“Joshua has bags of enthusiasm, and is full of energy. . .Something guaranteed to draw in an audience”
