As part of his role as Entertainment Correspondent on talkRADIO, Josh is known for providing coverage of breaking showbiz stories.

This will be Josh’s 4th consecutive Award Season covered on the station and this year, things are looking slightly different than usual as Josh and Julia comb over the fine details. Josh is not afraid to chew fat over the facts and hold his own with well established broadcasters on air!

And with the rest of award season still to come, combined with more exclusive interviews lined up … 2021 is firmly off to a positive start!

Josh was invited by Netflix to interview the cast of two huge pandemic releases for talkRADIO. First, Josh secured exclusive interviews with the cast of Rebecca. Despite cancelling on the likes of Graham Norton and Good Morning America, Josh was still able to get an exclusive with Lily James and Armie Hammer as well as reuniting with Kristin Scott-Thomas and Sam Riley – both of whom he secured exclusive interviews with before the pandemic.

The first junket went so well, Netflix invited Josh to interview more A-List actors in the new movie The Dig starring Carey Mulligan & Ralph Fiennes where he secured interviews with both stars.

Josh was delighted to be personally handpicked by producers to present a limited run of shows on air on TJC and More 4. Specialising in lifestyle products, interior design/homeware, accessories, brands and fashion – with a little showbiz thrown in! – Josh (as always) was not afraid to throw himself right into the action.

As entertainment correspondent for talkRADIO, Josh uses the skills in his toolbox to bring a unique perspective to every assignment, particularly in terms of coverage for any significant worldwide event.

Even though he is best known for his work throughout award season, he was lucky enough to play a part in the groundbreaking US Election 2020 coverage on talkRADIO. On Election Day he appeared on the flagship show on the Network, ‘The Independent Republic of Mike Graham’ in the buildup to the election.

Then on election night, coverage began at 10pm with Cristo Foufas and Josh went on air once again with Cristo to give analysis on the Showbiz side of the election, proving that when it comes to major coverage of big events, especially when it relates to showbiz in any way, Josh is always on hand as the go-to guy to provide expert analysis.

Josh Rom 2020 US Election Coverage Highlights

Rebecca – directed by Ben Wheatley is one of the big Netflix movie releases of 2020. Starring the likes of Lily James, Armie Hammer and Kristin Scott Thomas, the film has provided substantial distraction away from the day to day pressures of lockdown.

Lily James pulled out of several high profile media interviews news after the scandal with fellow actor Dominic West, including Graham Norton and The Today Show. However Josh still managed to bag an exclusive virtual interview with her for talkRADIO as well as several of the other big name stars of the film.

Once again Josh was invited by Netflix to interview the cast of ‘Sex Education’ to cover the release of the second season of the smash-hit show for talkRADIO and BANG Showbiz.

Josh had a lovely catch up with Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells and Kedar Williams-Stirling. Plus he also got to chat to newbies Patricia Allison & Tanya Reynolds – plenty of laughs were had!

After an incredible year which featured interviews with the likes of Keira Knightley, Samuel L. Jackson, Tessa Thompson, a viral interview with Bianca Del Rio, a chat with the Oscar winning Renée Zellweger for her award winning part in Judy, one on one interviews with the team behind 1917 and many red carpets, 2019 was a hard year to beat.

But Josh managed to kick off 2020 in STYLE! He started the year as talkRADIO’s official film correspondent across award season covering The Golden Globes and the Academy Awards for the third consecutive year, presenting entertainment news across the network with Julia Hartley Brewer, Mike Graham, Cristo Foufas and Darryl Morris.

But he also bagged a lot of exclusive interviews for major film releases with Hollywood royalty including Dame Kristen Scott-Thomas, Bill Nighy & Anya Taylor-Joy.
