Josh was the main face of covering a very different 2021 award season on talkRADIO.
Here he covered the buildup and post reaction of all the major ceremonies including the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, BAFTAs and the Oscars and was on air on a variety of shows across the network, broadcasting with the likes of Julia Hartley-Brewer, Mike Graham, Patrick Christys, Cristo Foufas and James Max.

But Josh managed to kick off 2020 in STYLE! He started the year as talkRADIO’s official film correspondent across award season covering The Golden Globes and the Academy Awards for the third consecutive year, presenting entertainment news across the network with Julia Hartley Brewer, Mike Graham, Cristo Foufas and Darryl Morris.
But he also bagged a lot of exclusive interviews for major film releases with Hollywood royalty including Dame Kristen Scott-Thomas, Bill Nighy & Anya Taylor-Joy.
For a huge talkRADIO exclusive, Josh spent the afternoon with Renée Zellweger to speak to her about her new role as legendary icon Judy Garland in her new movie: Judy. They spoke about her personal connection to the part, Judy’s connection to the LGBTQ plus community and the injustice about the last part of Judy’s life in length and in depth. They even had time for a selfie or two!
The Interview was played on various shows across the network and led in the Entertainment News bulletins for the stations. It was later picked up by the Mail Online.
Following Taylor Swifts claims that she will re-record her first 5 albums after November 2020 – following Scooter Braun’s purchase of Big Machine Records from Taylor’s former mentor Scott Borchetta – Josh reports on the music industry feud for BBC Outside Source which aired on the BBC News Channel in the UK and around the world.
He was later invited back on the programme to reports on the messaging behind Taylor Swift’s huge political statement the she made as she accepted the Video of The Year Award the MTV Video Music Awards 2019 (VMAs)
