After 4 years of freelancing, it was announced Josh is to join GB News as their first full time Entertainment Reporter. Josh will be appearing on shows across the schedule including The Great British Breakfast reporting on breaking showbiz stories whilst delivering exclusive reports. He will be joining the roster of reporters broadcasting alongside some of the biggest names in British broadcasting including Kirsty Gallacher, Simon McCoy, Alastair Stewart, Colin Brazier and he will be reuniting with former talkRADIO favourites including Mark Dolan, Alex Phillips and longtime colleague Patrick Christys. He will also be regularly contributing to the channels popular digital output.
You can tune into GB News, Britain’s new news channel via Freeview (Channel 236), Sky (Channel 515), Virgin Media (625), Freesat (Channel 216), YouView (Channel 236) as well as on YouTube and via the GB News website and app. It will also be coming soon to DAB Radio.
As entertainment correspondent for talkRADIO, Josh uses the skills in his toolbox to bring a unique perspective to every assignment, particularly in terms of coverage for any significant worldwide event.
Even though he is best known for his work throughout award season, he was lucky enough to play a part in the groundbreaking US Election 2020 coverage on talkRADIO. On Election Day he appeared on the flagship show on the Network, ‘The Independent Republic of Mike Graham’ in the buildup to the election.
Then on election night, coverage began at 10pm with Cristo Foufas and Josh went on air once again with Cristo to give analysis on the Showbiz side of the election, proving that when it comes to major coverage of big events, especially when it relates to showbiz in any way, Josh is always on hand as the go-to guy to provide expert analysis.
Rebecca – directed by Ben Wheatley is one of the big Netflix movie releases of 2020. Starring the likes of Lily James, Armie Hammer and Kristin Scott Thomas, the film has provided substantial distraction away from the day to day pressures of lockdown.
Lily James pulled out of several high profile media interviews news after the scandal with fellow actor Dominic West, including Graham Norton and The Today Show. However Josh still managed to bag an exclusive virtual interview with her for talkRADIO as well as several of the other big name stars of the film.
More and more, Josh is becoming the go-to guy for exclusive interviews for Wireless. He got the chance to sit down with some of the cast and director of the smash hit film, Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil for both talkRADIO as well as Paul Ross’ Extra Time on talkSPORT. But he doesn’t stop with film coverage as his passion for music also shines through. He also sat down with Danny Jones from McFly where they both laughed and reflected on profound topics. The interview aired on talkRADIO and was also picked up by BANG Showbiz.
For a huge talkRADIO exclusive, Josh spent the afternoon with Renée Zellweger to speak to her about her new role as legendary icon Judy Garland in her new movie: Judy. They spoke about her personal connection to the part, Judy’s connection to the LGBTQ plus community and the injustice about the last part of Judy’s life in length and in depth. They even had time for a selfie or two!
The Interview was played on various shows across the network and led in the Entertainment News bulletins for the stations. It was later picked up by the Mail Online.
For the second consecutive year Josh was out in force on the red carpet of the NTA’s and boy did he make the most of it, (despite the snow!)
He spoke to a very long list of the biggest names in UK Television from hit shows such as I’m A Celeb, Dancing On Ice, Love Island, This Morning, Our Girl and more!

BANG Showbiz sent Josh to the SSE Arena in Wembley to get he goss at the launch of the Dancing on Ice Nationwide tour. Here he interviewed the likes of Skating Legends, Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean as well as other popular stars including Kem Cetinay, Ray Quinn, Jake Quickenden, Donna Air and more!
His exclusive interviews made their way onto the likes of MSN, AOL, HMV News, The Metro and Female First.
Josh was selected to be part of the talkRADIO coverage for the Academy Awards 2018. He was on air from 1am till 5am overnight with Paul Ross alongside Film Critics Rebecca Perfect & Van Connor discussing all things Oscars. Josh provided live news, analysis, stats and reaction to all the action as it happened. He was then also on air first thing in the morning at 6am with James Max with the first showbiz reaction over breakfast.
Josh attended the launch of Series 15 of Made in Chelsea for BANG Showbiz. Here he interviewed Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, Sam Thompson, Jamie Laing, Oliver Proudlock, Alex Mytton and Victoria Baker-Harber. Highlights of the event are on their way!
