Josh is one of the faces to feature in the new Channel 4 Digital series Hot Takes. The series is to air across all of Channel 4’s digital platforms including Facebook, Twitter, IGTV and TikTok. The series will see faces across the UK give their reactions to some of the biggest viral moments. You can expect more straight talking analysis from Josh as the weeks go on!

Josh teamed up with top US Showbiz Journalist Kinsey Schofield to make their very own Oscars Pre-Show. Together they break down all the controversies surrounding the 2022 ceremony as well as share top analysis, commentary and insight.

After 4 years of freelancing, it was announced Josh is to join GB News as their first full time Entertainment Reporter. Josh will be appearing on shows across the schedule including The Great British Breakfast reporting on the latest news and delivering exclusive reports. He will be joining the roster of reporters broadcasting alongside some of the biggest names in British broadcasting including Kirsty Gallacher, Simon McCoy, Alastair Stewart, Colin Brazier and he will be reuniting with former talkRADIO favourites including Mark Dolan, Alex Phillips and longtime colleague Patrick Christys. He will also be regularly contributing to the channel’s popular digital output.

Once again Josh was invited by Netflix to interview the cast of ‘Sex Education’ to cover the release of the second season of the smash-hit show for talkRADIO and BANG Showbiz.

Josh had a lovely catch up with Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells and Kedar Williams-Stirling. Plus he also got to chat to newbies Patricia Allison & Tanya Reynolds – plenty of laughs were had!

 

 

After an incredible year which featured interviews with the likes of Keira Knightley, Samuel L. Jackson, Tessa Thompson, a viral interview with Bianca Del Rio, a chat with the Oscar winning Renée Zellweger for her award winning part in Judy, one on one interviews with the team behind 1917 and many red carpets, 2019 was a hard year to beat.

But Josh managed to kick off 2020 in STYLE! He started the year as talkRADIO’s official film correspondent across award season covering The Golden Globes and the Academy Awards for the third consecutive year, presenting entertainment news across the network with Julia Hartley Brewer, Mike Graham, Cristo Foufas and Darryl Morris.

But he also bagged a lot of exclusive interviews for major film releases with Hollywood royalty including Dame Kristen Scott-Thomas, Bill Nighy & Anya Taylor-Joy.

To finish off 2019, Josh blagged one of the first exclusive interviews for the smash hit film 1917 – with Sir Sam Mendes, George MacKay and Dean Charles-Chapman on talkRADIO, showing that he can truly spot a hit!

The film ended up taking home plenty of accolades at the Golden Globes, BAFTAs and the Academy Awards with the team being super in demand across the globe during award season.

 

Josh sat down 1 on 1 with RuPaul’s Drag Race sensation Bianca Del Rio for an extended exclusive interview. There were laughs, jokes and mega hits. The Interview was picked up by MSN, AOL, Female first and lots of other online outlets and it aired on Josh’s Showbiz slot on talkRADIO. The interview was a huge success as it has gained over 160,000 hits on Josh’s personal YouTube Channel as well as going viral on other fan pages on YouTube and IGTV.

 

Following Taylor Swifts claims that she will re-record her first 5 albums after November 2020 – following Scooter Braun’s purchase of Big Machine Records from Taylor’s former mentor Scott Borchetta – Josh reports on the music industry feud for BBC Outside Source which aired on the BBC News Channel in the UK and around the world.

He was later invited back on the programme to reports on the messaging behind Taylor Swift’s huge political statement the she made as she accepted the Video of The Year Award the MTV Video Music Awards 2019 (VMAs)

Josh was handpicked by producers from The Evening Standard to be a big part of their new online series Off The Island. 

As part of his role he started off participating in the studio panel providing fresh insight, analysis and humour to the proceedings. However he impressed so much he was then asked to present the studio show on two occasions where he bagged one of the first interviews with one of the 2019 contestants, Elma – before the series had even finished.

The show has been very well received online on The Evening Standards website, Facebook and YouTube pages with the episodes he presented gaining over 125,000 hits on YouTube alone!
